Primary Responsibilities: Design, develop, and deploy scalable applications and services based on given requirements with a strong focus on functional, non-functional, and maintenance aspects. Develop cloud-native applications and microservices using Java, Spring Boot, REST, and GraphQL. Work closely with cross-functional teams to implement, integrate, and monitor solutions effectively. Document, maintain, and improve current tools and processes for better operational efficiency. Independently troubleshoot and resolve production incidents with a customer-centric mindset and urgency. Ensure application observability and performance monitoring using tools like OTel or Prometheus (preferred). Technical Skills Required: Core Expertise: Java, Spring Boot, Microservices architecture. Cloud: Strong experience working with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) . APIs: Proficient in building and consuming REST and GraphQL services. Containerization & Orchestration: Hands-on experience with Docker , Kubernetes . CI/CD Pipelines: Proficient with tools like GitHub , CircleCI , Harness , GitHub Actions . Databases: Practical experience with distributed databases and RDBMS such as Cassandra , MongoDB , MySQL . Messaging & Event Architecture: Experience using Kafka for event-based systems. Testing: Well-versed in unit testing frameworks and practices. Observability (Nice to Have): Knowledge of OpenTelemetry (OTel) or Prometheus for monitoring. Bonus: Exposure to NodeJS is a plus. Soft Skills Required: Self-starter with the ability to work independently in highly collaborative, cross-functional environments. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
