We are looking for a high-performing Sales Manager to lead a team responsible for selling measurement and control instrumentation (e.g., flow, level, pressure, temperature sensors, analytical instruments) to industrial clients, driving revenue growth through sales strategies, team management, and building customer relationships. Key Responsibilities: Sales Leadership: Develop and execute sales plans to achieve targets, manage sales teams, and motivate sales representatives.• Customer Relationship Management: Build strong, long-lasting relationships with clients by understanding their needs and providing solutions.• Technical Expertise: Understand instrumentation technology, industry standards, and competitive offerings to effectively communicate value and influence specifications.• Market Analysis: Identify emerging markets, understand customer needs, and analyse competitive landscapes to adapt sales strategies.• Sales Process Management: Ensure a smooth sales process from lead generation to order entry, and provide post-sales support.• Reporting and Forecasting: Prepare sales reports and forecasts, analyse data, and track performance against targets.• Team Management: Recruit, train, coach, and mentor sales team members to achieve individual and team goals. Skills and Qualifications: Technical Skills: Strong understanding of instrumentation principles, industrial processes, and relevant industry standards.• Sales Skills: Proven experience in sales leadership, negotiation, presentation, and building relationships.• Leadership Skills: Ability to motivate, guide, and empower a sales team to achieve targets.• Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence stakeholders. • Analytical Skills: Ability to analyse data, identify trends, and make informed decisions based on sales performance and market conditions.• Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of the target market, including key players, industry trends, and competitive dynamics.• Education: Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field is often preferred, or equivalent experience. Additional Responsibilities: Collaborate with product development and engineering teams to ensure solutions meet customer needs. • Participate in industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to build relationships and generate leads.• Stay up-to-date on industry trends, new technologies, and competitive activities.
