As a Sales Manager at our client, a global leader in nutraceutical and pharmaceutical ingredients, you will play a crucial role in expanding the market presence in India. Reporting to the Head of Business APAC, based overseas, you will be based in Mumbai and responsible for driving growth and building strong relationships with key customers. Your responsibilities will include providing insights on market trends in the assigned segment, suggesting improvements in the sales strategy to the regional Sales Leader, and collaborating with internal technical and marketing departments to meet customer expectations around technical projects. You will also be expected to deliver regular activity reports, sales forecasts, and actively participate in conferences, events, and trade shows in the country. To excel in this role, you should ideally possess a Masters Degree in Biochemical Engineering, Biotechnology, or Bioprocessing. A background in life sciences will be advantageous.
