Role Description This is a Full-Time position with one of our clients for a Redshift Database Administrator. The Redshift Database Administrator will be responsible for managing, designing, and troubleshooting Redshift databases. Daily tasks include performing database administration, ensuring database design is optimal, troubleshooting issues, managing database replication, and ensuring database performance and integrity. Qualifications Proficiency in Database Administration and Database Design Strong Troubleshooting skills Experience with Databases and Replication Strong understanding of database design, performance tuning, and optimization techniques Proficiency in SQL and experience with database scripting languages (e.g., Python, Shell) Experience with database backup and recovery, security, and high availability solutions Familiarity with AWS services and tools, including S3, EC2, IAM, and CloudWatch Excellent problem-solving abilities and analytical skills Ability to work independently and remotely Advanced knowledge of AWS Redshift is a plus Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field
