Job specification Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related field. Diploma in Warehouse/Logistics Management (preferred but not mandatory). Minimum 3–5 years of progressive experience in warehouse or inventory management, preferably in a manufacturing or trading company . Prior experience with ERP systems (SAP, NetSuite, Oracle, or Tally) for inventory control is highly desirable. Skills & Competencies Strong knowledge of inventory control methods and warehouse operations. Proficiency in MS Excel and warehouse reporting. Excellent leadership, communication, and team management skills. Problem-solving ability to handle bottlenecks, damages, or stock discrepancies. Attention to detail with strong organizational and time-management skills. Knowledge of health, safety, and compliance practices in warehouse management. Other Requirements Ability to handle heavy operational workload in a fast-paced environment. Willingness to work extended hours during peak demand or dispatch schedules. Must be physically fit to oversee warehouse activities and travel if required. Job description Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, dispatching, and inventory management. Ensure accurate recording of stock movements in ERP/Inventory systems and maintain up-to-date records. Develop and enforce warehouse policies, procedures, and safety standards in line with company guidelines. Plan and optimize space utilization to ensure efficient storage and smooth material flow. Monitor stock levels, conduct cycle counts, and coordinate periodic physical verification of inventory. Supervise loading/unloading activities, ensuring timely dispatch and delivery to dealers/customers. Coordinate with Production, Sales, and Logistics teams to align warehouse operations with business needs. Identify and implement process improvements to reduce damages, pilferage, and stock variances. Prepare and present reports on stock status, warehouse efficiency, and material movement to management. Lead and train warehouse staff, assign tasks, and ensure discipline, performance, and team safety. Maintain compliance with regulatory, health, and safety standards within the warehouse premises.
