Design Development & Space Planning Interpret client briefs and develop concept presentations (mood boards, 2D layouts, 3D renders). Create functional and aesthetically pleasing designs based on space, budget, and client needs. Utilize CAD software (AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, etc.) to produce detailed plans and drawings. 2. Client Coordination Communicate design ideas clearly to clients during presentations and meetings. Handle client feedback and incorporate changes efficiently. Maintain a professional relationship throughout the project lifecycle. 3. Material & Product Selection Research and source furniture, fixtures, finishes, and materials. Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for samples, quotations, and availability. Ensure material specifications meet quality and budget standards. 4. Project Execution & Supervision Prepare working drawings and documentation for site execution. Collaborate with contractors, architects, and engineers on-site to ensure design intent is followed. Perform periodic site visits to supervise ongoing work and resolve issues. 5. Budget & Timeline Management Assist in preparing project budgets and BOQs (Bill of Quantities).Track expenses and ensure the project stays within budget. Help in managing timelines, procurement schedules, and installation. 6. Team Collaboration & Mentorship Work collaboratively with junior designers and interns. Review and guide work done by support staff, offering constructive feedback. Report progress and challenges to senior designers or project managers. Role Summary: A site supervisor with 3 to 5 years of experience is responsible for overseeing on-site construction work, managing labor teams, ensuring quality and safety compliance, and coordinating daily progress activities. At this level, they are expected to manage medium to large-scale work independently and report to site engineers or project managers. ✅ Key Responsibilities: 1. Daily Site Supervision Monitor and supervise all construction activities on-site. Ensure work is carried out as per approved drawings, specifications, and timelines. Allocate daily tasks to labor and subcontractors, and track their productivity. 2. Labor & Resource Management Manage and coordinate labor teams, subcontractors, and workers. Ensure efficient use of materials, tools, and equipment. Maintain attendance records of labor and resolve minor site disputes. 3. Quality Control Check the quality of workmanship and materials used on-site. Ensure proper construction practices are followed (shuttering, concreting, masonry, finishing, etc.). Report any deviations or issues to the site engineer/project manager. 4. Safety & Compliance Ensure all workers use PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) and follow safety protocols. Maintain a clean, hazard-free work environment. Conduct safety checks and inform management of any risks. 5. Site Reporting & Coordination Prepare and submit daily progress reports and updates. Coordinate with site engineers, contractors, and vendors for smooth work progress. Assist in resolving on-site technical issues in consultation with engineers. 6. Material Handling Monitor the delivery, unloading, and proper storage of construction materials. Keep track of material usage and report shortages or damages. Ensure minimum wastage and proper stock management on-site.
