Job Description: We are looking for an experienced and motivated Automation Engineer with a strong background in machine vision systems (preferably Omron) and industrial robotics . The ideal candidate should have successfully executed vision inspection projects across industries like pharma, packaging, electronics, or automotive , and be well-versed in configuring, programming, and troubleshooting vision cameras, lighting systems, and robotic integration . Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and commission machine vision inspection solutions using Omron Vision Systems (FQ2, FH series, etc.) Work with other vision platforms like Cognex, Keyence, Baumer , or Sick (preferred) Integrate vision systems with PLCs, HMIs, and robots for real-time inspection and automation Configure lighting, lenses, and image acquisition for different inspection needs (OCR, defect detection, alignment, etc.) Collaborate with the robotics team to integrate with robot arms (Omron, Yaskawa, Mitsubishi, ABB, etc.) Troubleshoot hardware/software issues at customer sites and ensure robust application deployment Conduct proof of concept (POC) , customer trials, documentation, and end-user training Coordinate with sales and service teams to support project implementation Key Skills Required: Hands-on experience with Omron Vision Systems (FQ, FH Series) Knowledge of Cognex, Keyence, or similar machine vision platforms Good understanding of robotics systems (Omron Scara, Delta, Yaskawa, ABB, etc.) Basic to intermediate knowledge of PLC programming (Sysmac Studio, TIA Portal) Understanding of EtherCAT, Modbus, TCP/IP, and I/O mapping Experience with pharma packaging, label inspection, or pick-and-place automation is a plus Strong problem-solving and system debugging skills

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and proactive Service Engineer with 3+ years of hands-on experience in Industrial Automation . The ideal candidate should have worked with leading automation brands such as Siemens, Omron, ABB , etc., and possess strong knowledge of automation products, application programming , and commissioning support . Exposure to platforms like Omron Sysmac and similar environments is highly desirable. Key Responsibilities: Provide on-site and remote technical support , troubleshooting, and service for automation products and systems. Configure, program, and commission industrial automation equipment (PLC, HMI, SCADA, Drives, Sensors). Develop and maintain application programs using platforms like Omron Sysmac Studio, Siemens TIA Portal, ABB Automation Builder , etc. Collaborate with the sales and engineering team to support pre-sales technical evaluations and post-sales implementations . Conduct product demos, training, and application trials for clients. Maintain detailed documentation of service reports, project configurations, and troubleshooting logs. Requirements: 3 to 7 years of relevant experience in industrial automation and service engineering . Hands-on exposure to Siemens, Omron, ABB , or similar automation brands. Strong programming experience in Sysmac Studio, TIA Portal, Step 7, Automation Studio , or equivalent. Good understanding of control panel wiring, I/O mapping, field devices , and industrial protocols like EtherCAT, Modbus, Profibus . Willingness to travel for site support and commissioning . Excellent problem-solving, customer service, and communication skills. Preferred Qualifications: Diploma or Bachelors Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, or Mechatronics Engineering . Certification in PLC/SCADA/Drives from recognized institutions. Experience in pharmaceutical, packaging, automotive , or FMCG automation applications
