Role Overview We’re looking for a UX Design Architect who is a strategic lead and hands-on UX practitioner, capable of crafting innovative, user-centered solutions for complex projects. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with the Manager, Director of UX, and the client stakeholders and cross-functional teams to deliver seamless, impactful design experiences while aligning business goals with user needs. You will lead the end-to-end design process, from defining project scope and leading workshops to mentoring designers and ensuring the quality of visual and interaction design. Balancing big-picture thinking with meticulous attention to detail, you’ll guide your team while staying deeply involved in the design work. What will you do The UX Design Architect will: ● Lead projects from start to finish, managing the design process while actively contributing to hands-on design work and ensuring high-quality outcomes. ● Plan and facilitate workshops to define user and business problems, goals, and desired outcomes, aligning design efforts with business objectives. ● Define, manage, and oversee project scope, timelines, milestones, and deliverables to ensure successful and timely delivery. ● Drive continuous interactions with Product Managers, Engineering teams, and other stakeholders to ensure the creation of exceptional, user-centered designs. ● Guide, mentor, and provide constructive feedback to the design team, fostering the delivery of high-quality work throughout the end-to-end product design process. ● Collaborate with other design leads and teams to ensure alignment on the organization's design processes, methodologies, and best practices. Qualifications ● 7+ years of relevant UX design experience, with at least 2+ years leading UX teams. ● Deep understanding of user-centered design methods and best practices, constantly seeking to improve processes. ● Proven ability to lead multiple engagements while maintaining high-quality standards. ● Extensive experience mentoring designers across various disciplines and leading projects. ● Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively present design decisions and rationale. ● Experience working with enterprise software and design systems. ● Strong portfolio showcasing attention to detail and mastery of typography, color, layout, and design principles. ● Creative and visual skills, with the ability to articulate design rationale clearly. ● A growth mindset, willing to fail, unlearn, and continuously learn.
