UX Designer - Analytics & Dashboards

As a Senior UX Designer - Analytics & Dashboards located in Bangalore, India with over 9 years of experience, your primary responsibility will be to design intuitive and impactful analytics and dashboard solutions, primarily for Google. You will utilize your deep understanding of user-centered design principles and data visualization best practices to create exceptional user experiences that enable users to comprehend and act upon complex data effectively. Your expertise in wireframing, prototyping, UI design, and proficiency with tools like Figma and Google PLX Dashboards will play a critical role in your success. You will lead the user experience design process for analytics and dashboard projects, ensuring a user-centered approach and collaborating closely with product managers, data scientists, engineers, and other stakeholders to comprehend user needs, business requirements, and technical constraints. Conducting user research, including interviews, surveys, and usability testing, to gather insights and validate design decisions will be a part of your responsibilities. You will create wireframes, user flows, and interactive prototypes to effectively communicate design concepts and interactions while applying a strong understanding of data visualization principles to design clear, concise, and actionable dashboards. Your role will also involve developing high-fidelity UI designs that are visually appealing, user-friendly, and consistent with brand guidelines, including Google's design standards. Utilizing Figma as the primary design tool and working with Google PLX Dashboards to understand their capabilities and limitations will be essential. Presenting design concepts and rationale to stakeholders, participating in design reviews, and ensuring the quality and consistency of the user experience across different platforms and touchpoints are crucial aspects of your role. Staying up-to-date with the latest UX design trends, data visualization techniques, and best practices, as well as mentoring and guiding junior designers on the team, will be part of your responsibilities. Key skills required for this role include 9+ years of proven experience as a UX Designer, expertise in wireframing, prototyping, UI design, data visualization principles, proficiency in Figma, experience with Google PLX Dashboards, user-centered design methodologies, communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills. Preferred skills and experience include designing for enterprise-level analytics platforms, familiarity with data analysis and data science workflows, understanding of accessibility guidelines (WCAG), experience with user research methodologies beyond usability testing, and a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), or a related field.,
