We are looking for a responsible and proactive Factory Supervisor to oversee day-to-day operations at our tin box manufacturing unit. The ideal candidate will take full ownership of production planning, raw material and finished goods inventory, machine maintenance checks, and team coordination on the shop floor. This role is designed to ensure the smooth and efficient functioning of the factory with minimal need for intervention from the business owner. Key Responsibilities Production Management Plan, monitor, and supervise all stages of tin box production – from cutting and printing to forming and packaging. Allocate tasks to machine operators and workers for maximum productivity. Ensure quality control standards are met during every stage of production. Maintain production timelines and minimize downtime. Inventory Control Maintain and update stock of raw materials such as tin sheets, inks, packaging materials, etc. Track daily usage and waste; report discrepancies immediately. Coordinate reordering of materials to avoid production delays. Manage finished goods inventory and dispatch records. Machine Maintenance Conduct daily machine checks and routine preventive maintenance. Maintain a log of equipment service schedules. Identify minor issues early and coordinate with technicians for repairs. Reduce unplanned breakdowns through proactive supervision. Team & Shift Management Supervise factory workers, machine operators, and helpers. Prepare daily shift schedules and ensure attendance tracking. Train new employees on safety protocols and production processes. Resolve minor conflicts and maintain workplace discipline. Reporting & Communication Submit daily and weekly production and inventory reports. Report critical issues (e.g., production delays, equipment failure) to the owner promptly. Suggest process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
