Designation - Manager Business Development (Robotics) (Visit - https://autofinaedutech.com/) Education BE / BTech in Mechanical / Robotics / Electronics / Mechatronics Location Pune (Kothrud) and Mumbai (Lower Parel west) Experience - 4 to 8 years Mechanical / Industrial Automation / Capital Equipment / Robotics, Educational Technology / Training Labs / Skill Development / STEM labs. Strong exposure to government and institutional sales especially Technical Education, Skill Development, Engineering & Polytechnics. Target customer Government Colleges, ITO, Polytechnic Colleges. To set up a Tech Laboratory. (minimum 1 to maximum 50 applications) Role Objective To own revenue, pipeline and brand visibility for Autofinas Robotics & IoT Centres of Excellence and Tech Labs in the government and higher-education segment across India specifically: Government Engineering Colleges Government & Aided Polytechnics ITIs / Advanced Training Institutes Skill Universities / Skill Development Centres Selected Private Engineering / Polytechnic institutes The role will combine strategic B2B/B2G/B2G sales, tender management and hands-on field marketing, building deep relationships with Principals, HoDs, Directors, Secretaries (Higher & Technical Education), and other key decision makers. Key Responsibilities A. Sales Strategy & Revenue Ownership Own annual order booking and revenue targets for Robotics & IoT CoEs / labs in the education segment. Develop and execute state-wise go-to-market plans (Maharashtra, Karnataka, Gujarat, Rajasthan, etc.) with clear institute lists, prioritisation and visit plans. Build and manage a pan-India funnel from first contact to closure enquiries, demos, proposals, tenders, negotiations and order finalisation. Create account development plans for key states / government bodies (DTE, Skill Development Dept, Technical Education Dept, etc.). B. Business Development Government & Education Identify, map and connect with key stakeholders: Principals, HoDs (Mechanical, E&TC, Electrical, Mechatronics, AI-ML), Training & Placement Officers, Deans, Directors, and Secretaries / Commissioners in Government departments. Pitch Autofina CoE solutions (Robotics, Automation, IoT, 3D printing, LMS, training packages) through structured meetings, workshops and events. Lead high-impact product demos and presentations at institutes, government offices and state-level review meetings. Represent Autofina at education expos, conferences, skill summits and sectoral events; ensure strong lead capture and follow-through. C. Tendering, Bidding & Govt Process Management Own the end-to-end tender lifecycle for education / government opportunities: Tender tracking (state & central portals, GeM, institutional websites). Bid/no-bid decisions in consultation with management. Preparation of technical & commercial bids, compliance matrices, BoQs and supporting documents. Coordination with internal technical, finance and legal teams to ensure 100% compliance. Participation in pre-bid meetings, presentations and technical evaluations. Support in price negotiations and contract finalisation. Maintain a tender knowledge base winning points, reasons for loss, competitor analysis, pricing benchmarks. D. Marketing, Brand Building & Demand Generation Build Autofinas thought-leadership positioning in Robotics & Automation education by: Planning faculty development programs (FDPs), workshops, seminars and industrial visits at Autofinas facility and at institutes. Designing campaigns and content (presentations, brochures, case studies, success stories, social media briefs) aligned to brand guidelines. Work closely with the marketing team to: Run targeted digital campaigns (LinkedIn, emailers, WhatsApp) for Principals, HoDs and Directors. Promote newly inaugurated CoEs, MoUs and success stories across social platforms. Identify opportunities for MoUs, state-level empanelments and strategic alliances (skill universities, sector skill councils, CSR partners, OEM partners). E. Relationship Management & Key Accounts Act as single point of contact for key institutes and state departments from proposal stage through installation, training and AMC. Periodically visit existing CoEs to: Review lab utilisation, faculty engagement and student outcomes. Identify upsell/cross-sell opportunities (additional robots, AMRs, IoT kits, LMS, advanced courses, AMCs, refresher trainings). Maintain long-term, consultative relationships that position Autofina as a strategic partner not just a vendor. F. Team Leadership & Internal Collaboration Build and lead a small sales & field-marketing team (RSMs/ASMs/BD Executives) over time.
