Role & responsibilities Plan, coordinate, and execute rooftop solar projects (RCC & team-shed types) as per project timelines and quality standards. Supervise installation of module mounting structures , solar modules, inverters, and balance of system (BOS) components. Manage AC & DC cabling , termination, and routing as per safety and design requirements. Perform earthing, lightning protection, and cable tray installations . Conduct testing and commissioning using instruments such as clamp meters, insulation testers, and multimeters . Ensure compliance with electrical and safety standards during project execution. Coordinate with design, procurement, and quality teams for smooth project delivery. Prepare and maintain site reports, material records, and work progress documentation. Support troubleshooting and maintenance activities as needed. Preferred candidate profile Experience with industrial/commercial rooftop systems (10 kW1 MW range) . Basic understanding of net metering, grid synchronization , and safety protocols . Knowledge of AutoCAD or PV system design tools will be an added advantage. Required Skills & Qualifications: B.E./B.Tech/Diploma in Electrical / Mechanical / Renewable Energy Engineering. 25 years of experience in Solar EPC project execution , preferably in rooftop solar. Strong knowledge of solar PV systems , mounting structures , and electrical components . Familiar with testing instruments (e.g., clamp meter, insulation tester). Ability to interpret electrical drawings and layouts . Good communication, leadership, and team management skills. Willingness to travel to project sites as required.
