User Interface Developer for Sugar

You will be joining OLPC as a Developer to contribute to building the innovative OLPC user environment known as Sugar. This interface is a free software technology that aims to enhance learning, creativity, and exploration for users. Your primary responsibility will involve collaborating with our team to develop and enhance a visually appealing User Interface specifically for the XO-1 laptop, targeting children as the end-users. To excel in this role, you should possess experience in C, Python, and GTK+. Additionally, familiarity with Gecko, X Window System, D-Bus, GStreamer, Cairo, and Fedora Linux will be advantageous. We are looking for individuals who are detail-oriented, self-starters, possess good communication skills, and thrive in a collaborative work environment.
