US Mortgage Loan Underwriter

Job Description: EQTY LYFE is a tech-driven financial company with a focus on building fair and transparent lending systems to empower underserved communities. As a US Loan Processor at EQTY LYFE in Hyderabad, you will be responsible for reviewing and processing loan applications, collaborating with clients and internal teams, and ensuring accurate and efficient handling of each loan. Key Responsibilities: - Process residential or small business loan applications end-to-end. - Communicate with borrowers to gather or clarify missing information. - Collaborate with underwriters and compliance teams to expedite and accurately process each loan file. - Maintain accurate and updated digital loan files within the system. - Adhere to US lending regulations such as RESPA, TILA, and ECOA. Qualifications Required: - Experience working with Encompass or similar loan software. - Proficiency in using LOS (Loan Origination System) or POS (Point of Sale) platforms. - Understanding of loan modeling and processing workflows from application to approval. - At least 12 years of experience as a Loan Processor (consumer, mortgage, or business loans). - Detail-oriented, organized, and skilled in time management. - Strong written and verbal communication skills. - Ability to handle multiple files and meet deadlines. - Passion for financial inclusion and fair lending practices.
