• We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Test Lead to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a

  strong background in Playwright and extensive experience in integrating automated testing frameworks with CI/CD pipelines

  .
• This role requires a proactive individual who can lead testing efforts, ensure the highest quality of software delivery, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead Testing Efforts:

  Oversee the design, development, and execution of automated test scripts using Playwright to ensure comprehensive test coverage and high-quality software releases.

• Expertise in using Playwright

  for end-to-end testing, including setting up and configuring Playwright

• Advanced Playwright Features:

  Knowledge of handling assertions, API mocking, authentication handling, mobile testing, and integrating Playwright with CI/CD
• Deployment: Containerized deployment of automation script
• Cross-Browser Testing: Ability to run tests across multiple browsers like Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Edge

• CI/CD Integration:

  Implement and maintain automated testing frameworks within CI/CD pipelines to streamline the software development lifecycle and ensure continuous integration and delivery
• Thorough understanding of requirements and transforming them to test cases & test scripts
• Test Strategy Development: Develop and execute test strategies, plans, and schedules to meet project goals and timelines
• Collaboration: Work closely with development, DevOps, and product teams to identify and resolve issues, and ensure seamless integration of testing processes
• Mentorship: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior testers and developers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation
• Reporting: Generate detailed test reports and metrics to communicate testing progress, results, and quality status to stakeholders.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Playwright Expert (3+) or Software Test Engineer (7+) with a strong focus on automation

• Strong expertise in

  Playwright MCP

  and integrating automated tests with CI/CD pipelines.
• In-depth knowledge of Playwright framework and its capabilities

• Proficiency in programming languages such as JavaScript, TypeScript, or Python

• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and principles
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good communication and documentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certifications:

  Relevant certifications in software testing or CI/CD practices

• Agile Methodologies:

  Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments

• Leadership:

  Proven track record of leading and managing testing teams
