Job Summary

Service Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out commissioning and installation of newly delivered spreaders.
• Attend to spreader warranty repair and service requirements.
• Provide technical assistance for installation and troubleshooting of equipment and components.
• Conduct site inspections based on customer requirements.
• Identify potential repair/upgrade opportunities and recommend suitable solutions to customers.
• Handle preventive and reactive service calls.
• Undertake servicing and repair of products and systems as per customer requirements.
• Maintain accurate records of job progress, delays, issues, changes and service activities.
• Prepare service reports highlighting activities completed, faults identified and future recommendations.
• Provide technical training to customers on product knowledge, maintenance, troubleshooting and repairs.

Candidate Requirements

• Diploma in Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum

  10 years of relevant experience

  , preferably in the

  Cargo Management Industry

  .
• Strong technical and service knowledge.
• PLC software programming knowledge is preferred.
• Ability to read and understand

  electrical and mechanical drawings

  .
• Strong documentation and execution skills.
• Good communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
• Team player with good initiative.
