Job Description

Role & responsibilities - Drafting and Documentation: Prepare detailed architectural and structural drawings using AutoCAD and other drafting tools. Update and revise plans based on feedback from architects, engineers, and project managers. Create as-built drawings for completed projects. Coordination: Collaborate with architects, engineers, and consultants to translate concepts into detailed designs. Coordinate with project teams to ensure drawings align with design intent and construction requirements. Compliance and Standards: Ensure all drawings comply with local building codes, regulations, and company standards. Maintain consistency and accuracy across all technical documentation. Material Specifications: Prepare detailed schedules for materials, finishes, and fixtures as required. Assist in preparing technical specifications for tender documents. Site Support: Provide technical support to construction teams during project execution. Visit project sites to verify dimensions and ensure compliance with drawings. Preferred candidate profile - Diploma in Civil/Architectural Drafting or equivalent. 10-15 years of experience as a draughtsman in real estate. Proficiency in AutoCAD and other drafting tools; knowledge of Revit or SketchUp is a plus. Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and detailing.
