Job Title: Production Engineer Job Summary: We are looking for an experienced Production Engineer with 8+ years of experience in sheet metal manufacturing for OEMs. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing production activities, ensuring optimal resource utilization, and maintaining high-quality manufacturing standards. Key Responsibilities: Manpower Management: Efficiently manage welders, helpers, and other production staff, ensuring proper work division and productivity. Fabrication Machinery Handling: Operate and oversee machines such as Shearing, Press Brakes, Power Presses, and Special Purpose Machines (SPMs). Production Planning & Control: Plan and manage raw materials and resources based on production schedules. Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE): Ensure maximum efficiency of equipment and reduce downtime. Cost Control: Monitor and optimize production costs to improve profitability. Production Records Maintenance: Maintain accurate documentation of production activities and reports. Technical Skills: Ability to work with AutoCAD and other nesting software for production planning. Engineering Drawings Interpretation: Read and analyze engineering drawings to assess feasibility and production requirements. Requirements: Experience: 8-10 years in a similar manufacturing environment supplying to OEMs. Technical Expertise: Hands-on experience with fabrication machinery and production planning. Software Knowledge: Proficiency in AutoCAD and nesting software. Leadership Skills: Ability to manage manpower and ensure efficient workflow. Analytical Skills: Ability to interpret engineering drawings and optimize production processes.
