Primary Purpose of Job: Contribute to the ongoing growth of Stantec ResourceNet Private India Ltd by providing technical expertise in specialist areas of wastewater network modelling. To be involved in the implementation and delivery of leading edge programmes and projects. Support project managers/team leader by providing technical expertise to ensure that project outcomes in terms of profit, schedule, technical and quality standards, meet both the client and Stantec expectations. Key Accountabilities: Wastewater/stormwater hydraulic modelling Model build and verification Optioneering & Outline Design of hydraulic solutions Development Impact Assessment Preparation of technical reports / drawings, Working with GIS databases, Handling and managing large data sets for analysis Carry out other duties as may be assigned from time to time by supervisor/management, Need to work off-hours for client co-ordination: Occasionally Need to travel off-shore for training/on-site work: Occasionally Person Specifications: Bachelors/Masters degree in civil/ Environmental Engineering Expert in hydraulic modelling, run-off models and hydraulics (gravity & pressure networks), Optioneering & Outline Design of hydraulic solutions Expert in hydraulic modelling software, InfoWorks CS, InfoWorks ICM. In addition to this candidate with experience in Mike Urban, TUFLOW, HECRAS 2D and SWMM will be preferred Have excellent data manipulation abilities (FME/POWERBI/MS Excel/MS Access database type packages) Good skills in GIS packages: Mapinfo, ArcGIS preferred Expert in Technical report writing skills Good level of client service management, i.e. able to interface with clients and to build and maintain lasting, positive relationships with our Clients Capable to analyse, assess, evaluate the issues, complexity pertaining to projects / work packages and support the team lead in mitigating them in advance Rigorous attention to detail, able to understand and adopt workflows and commitment to personal professional development Competent level of baseline skills, i.e. professional and confident with the essential, basic business and communication skills that are required for career growth in all positions Flexible attitude to accepting different work assignments and pro-active attitude to execution / delivery

As a member of our team, your responsibilities will include day-to-day project management for concept studies, detailed design, and construction drawings. You will liaise with UK offices, assist in preparing fee proposals, and maintain financial control of projects when acting as a package project manager. It will be your responsibility to ensure that projects are delivered within budget, on schedule, and meet technical standards, quality assurance, CDM, sustainability, and health, safety, and environment requirements. Additionally, you will be involved in direct line management, including mentoring and managing early career professionals to ensure technical excellence in project deliverables while fostering a positive working environment within the team. The ideal candidate will possess significant experience in drainage design (foul and surface water) on infrastructure projects such as urban drainage, roads/highways, and residential areas. You should have knowledge of relevant design codes and be proficient in preparing drawings for contract documentation and technical approvals. The ability to produce infrastructure masterplans, site appraisals, technical reports, design calculations, and construction drawings is essential. Proficiency in using or directing the use of relevant software tools like Micro Drainage, Info Drainage, and Civils 3D is required. Experience in designing Sustainable Urban Drainage Systems (SUDS) is a key requirement, along with strong communication skills, a desire to work collaboratively in a close-knit team, and the ability to mentor junior team members effectively.
