We are seeking a highly experienced and passionate Senior Saree Salesman to join our team. The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of traditional Indian sareesincluding silk, cotton, designer, and bridal collectionswith a proven ability to deliver exceptional customer service and close high-value sales. Role & responsibilities:- Greet and assist customers in a warm, professional manner. Understand customer preferences and suggest suitable sarees. Demonstrate excellent product knowledge and explain fabric, weaving techniques, and design details. Upsell and cross-sell products based on customer interest and purchase history. Manage inventory levels, display arrangements, and restocking. Build long-term customer relationships and encourage repeat business. Work closely with the store manager and team for smooth daily operations. Stay updated with latest saree trends, designs, and market demand. Preferred candidate profile:- Minimum 10 years of experience in saree or ethnic wear sales. In-depth knowledge of different types of sarees (Kanjivaram, Banarasi, Chanderi, etc.). Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Fluent in Marathi & Hindi. Knowledge of English preferred. Customer-oriented with excellent selling and negotiation abilities.
