Company Description The SDG Hub is a global network focused on achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), which consist of 17 goals adopted by the United Nations in 2015. These goals aim to address issues such as poverty, hunger, climate change, and education. The mission of the SDG Hub is to connect individuals and organizations passionate about making a difference. It provides a platform for collaboration, resource sharing, learning, and works to raise awareness and mobilize action to achieve the SDGs. Role Description This is a volunteer role located on-site in Nagpur. The volunteer will be responsible for supporting various activities within the University of Buea SDG HUB. Day-to-day tasks will include assisting with organizing events and workshops, managing social media presence, conducting research related to SDGs, creating awareness campaigns, and engaging with community members and stakeholders to promote sustainability initiatives. Qualifications Event planning and organizational skills Social media management and communication skills Research and analytical skills Experience with creating awareness campaigns and community engagement Teamwork and collaboration skills Passion for sustainable development and knowledge of the SDGs Ability to work independently and proactively Previous volunteer experience is a plus
