As a Paint Technologist (Quality & Production) at our company located in Ambad, Nashik, you will play a crucial role in the development, testing, and enhancement of paint formulations and application processes. Your responsibilities will involve collaborating with different teams to ensure the quality, durability, and environmental sustainability of our paint products. Additionally, you will be tasked with troubleshooting any issues that may arise during production or application. Your key duties will include conducting a variety of tests on both raw materials and finished products to guarantee they meet our stringent quality standards. This will encompass assessing factors such as adhesion, durability, and color consistency. Furthermore, you will provide invaluable technical support during the manufacturing process, optimizing paint application methods, and addressing any challenges related to paint application or performance. In this role, your problem-solving skills will be put to the test as you identify and resolve a range of paint-related issues. This could involve troubleshooting application problems, addressing color inconsistencies, or rectifying performance defects. Your proficiency in paint formulation, testing methods, and application techniques will be essential to your success in this position. Ideally, you should possess a Diploma or Degree in Paint Technology, along with 1-3 years of relevant experience in the field. A background in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related discipline is typically required, with prior knowledge of paint technology or coatings science being highly advantageous. Proficiency in handling instruments such as BYK, DFT meter, Gloss meter, and a strong understanding of painting application processes are also crucial.
