Role & responsibilities Independently handle Technical Support pertaining to maintenance of mould plates and mould tubes of casters. Provide technical support related to process of continuous casting to customers in Steel Industry. Work closely with customers to understand their problems and issues arising out of continuous casting of steel and offer solutions if possible. Understand if customers have a necessity of spare parts for the caster and also if they have a requirement of refurbishment of parts of the casting machine. Should be willing to travel to all Steel mills across the country / abroad and provide Technical Support . Provide support to Sales Team headquartered at Bangalore. Utilising technical expertise to generate enquiry to facilitate selling. Should be able to troubleshoot quality and technical problems related to casters and associated equipment. Preferred candidate profile Degree holder in Mechanical Engineering / Metallurgical Engineering with 7 to 15 years technical experience in steel Industry and more specifically in continuous casters. Good understanding of steel plant processes. Should be having good Techno Commercial knowledge. Excellent influencing, negotiation and convincing skills
