CAD Engineer / Draftsman Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced CAD Engineer/Draftsman to join our manufacturing team in Navi Mumbai. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating technical CAD drawings of sheet metal components for various product enclosures and electrical equipment housings. Key Responsibilities: Develop detailed CAD drawings and 2D/3D models of sheet metal enclosures using AutoCad software Create manufacturing drawings with accurate dimensions, tolerances, and specifications Collaborate with production and design teams to optimize designs for manufacturability Prepare technical documentation including assembly drawings, part lists, and material specifications Review and modify existing designs based on engineering requirements and production feedback Ensure all drawings comply with industry standards and company quality requirements Required Qualifications: Minimum 2 years of experience in CAD drafting, preferably in sheet metal design Proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar CAD software Strong understanding of sheet metal fabrication processes and design principles Knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) Attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines Preferred Skills: Experience with electrical enclosure design
