The school offers undergraduate and postgraduate programmes that equip students with analytical, research, and practical skills to excel in diverse fields. Within this framework, the Psychology discipline is a core area, preparing students to understand human behavior, cognition, emotions, and mental health through academic rigor and applied practice. Roles and Responsibilities Deliver lectures, tutorials, and seminars in core and elective Psychology courses, as per the institution’s workload policy. Mentor and guide students in academic, research, and career development. Design, develop, and periodically review curriculum for undergraduate and postgraduate Psychology programs, integrating contemporary theories, research, and applications. Conceptualize strategies for continuing education, certificate courses, and workshops in applied Psychology domains (e.g., counseling, organizational psychology, clinical psychology). Undertake continuous evaluation of courses and pedagogy to align with USLM’s vision and strategic objectives. Engage in research, publications, and collaborative projects with national and international academic institutions, industry, and community organizations. Assess and evaluate student performance in coursework, assignments, projects, and research within the prescribed timelines, ensuring effective feedback and support. Initiate and incubate new interdisciplinary and innovative programs related to Psychology and allied fields. Take part in administrative responsibilities as per institutional needs and directions of the Director / HOD / University. Actively contribute to academic meetings on curriculum development, pedagogy, and academic operations. Participate in USLM’s outreach activities, including academic events, student development programs, and community engagement initiatives.
