Primary Objective of the Position: Work in coordination with the Senior Project Engineer / Team Lead on automation tester design and development using SolidWorks, AutoCAD, concept development, fabrication validation and assembly support. Job Responsibilities: Develop 3D and 2D mechanical designs. Create assembly and part drawings for manufacturing. Design sheet metal components, aluminum frame structures and welded assemblies. Ensure designs are optimized for fabrication processes such as cutting, bending and drilling. Collaborate closely with manufacturing, procurement and assembly teams to ensure design feasibility and alignment. Required Skills: Minimum Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering. 2–3 years of hands-on design experience in an industrial environment. Proficiency in designing parts, assemblies, drawings and sheet metal modules. Ability to generate complete fabrication drawings and part lists. Strong understanding of sheet metal fabrication, aluminum profiles and processes such as cutting, drilling, bending and welding. Additional Skills: Hands-on experience or exposure to machine shop or fabrication shop processes. Experience in designing jigs, fixtures, or special-purpose machines is a plus. Understanding of part sourcing, vendor communication, and design-to-cost principles.

Strong understanding of industrial automation, T&M systems, and LabVIEW-driven platforms. Demonstrated success in B2B technical sales and managing long sales cycles. Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills. Strong network in EV, automotive, and electronics industries (preferred). Willingness to travel as needed for client engagements.
