You will be tasked with maintaining the quality manual to guarantee conformity with industry standards and regulations. Additionally, creating and updating documentation for casting processes, including process sheets, work instructions, and training materials for operators, will be part of your role. Documentation of inspection and testing procedures, results, and certifications for casting products is essential for quality control. Your assistance will be required in documenting corrective actions, root cause analysis, and preventive actions. Participation in internal audits to ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and company policies is a vital aspect of this position. Furthermore, you will provide training and support to casting personnel on quality documentation procedures and requirements. Identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to enhance quality documentation systems and processes is a key component of this role. To qualify for this position, you should hold a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as metallurgy, materials science, or quality engineering. A minimum of 2 years of experience in quality documentation, particularly in the casting industry, is preferred. Familiarity with industry standards like ISO 9001 and AS9100, regulatory requirements, and casting processes is necessary.
