Key Responsibilities: Inspect, service, and certify inflatable life rafts in accordance with SOLAS and manufacturer standards. Maintain and test lifejackets, lifebuoys, immersion suits, EPIRBs, SARTs, and other lifesaving equipment. Inspect and maintain firefighting appliances, including extinguishers, hoses, and detection systems. Conduct safety inspections onboard vessels and ensure compliance with IMO, SOLAS, and ISM Code requirements. Prepare inspection and service reports, maintain accurate documentation, and liaise with class societies. Assist with onboard safety drills and crew training when required. Requirements: Proven experience in marine ship safety procedures and techniques. Knowledge of maritime regulations and safety standards.
