JOB DESCRIPTION Title: Business Development Executive (Male) Position Summary The business development manager will have responsibility for developing and implementing the regional strategic direction for the Pharma/Biotech/Life Sciences/food safety and authenticity/CTL, clinical/forensic/Automobile markets aligned with divisional strategy and will act as the liaison to the commercial organization. They will collate market trends, competitor dynamics and voice of customer to drive strategy development. They will also develop strategic relationships with key opinion leaders, regulatory bodies and support commercial organizations with domain expertise in key vertical market accounts. Working with the regional customer application center and product marketing teams they will scope out and define requirements for applications, workflows and new product requirements or improvements to drive growth in this market space. Working closely with a cross functional, cross divisional team, the market development manager will ensure the effective implementation of strategies and build and maintain excellent relationships with colleagues and customers to meet financial goals. Responsibilities. • Lead business development activities across key markets in the region by creating strategic business plans along with teams to drive competitive advantage. Create clear value propositions against competitors. • • Responsible for developing and driving regional strategies across key markets. Research the key market sectors and identify significant opportunities for the Instruments, Consumables, to meet financial goals. • • Work in conjunction with Scientists, product marketing / management and team to determine high value applications/workflows within target sectors that would best demonstrate product value and competitive advantage. Lead virtual teams spanning across countries to develop subject matter expertise, finding opportunities, challenges and gaps, standard methodology sharing across countries. Aligning with teams to develop road maps for plugging gaps and create competitive advantage. • Actively collaborate with cross-functional, cross-divisional teams to build support and expertise on product roadmap that addresses customer needs, propose new products or improvements for development and enhance customer experience. Identify Key Opinion Leaders across the region, establish strong relationships and seek to gain product endorsement support and develop thought leadership. Analyze and report out market, competitive, application trends as well as new workflow opportunities across the Pharma/Biotech/Life Sciences/food safety and authenticity/CTL, clinical/forensic/Automobile markets. • • Desired Qualifications • Bachelors degree, prefer chemistry, analytical science, or life science, Pharmacy, Biology, Biotech, Chemistry, Engineering (Chemical/Mechanical/Electrical). • • Ability to understand technology and articulate customer value and benefit proposition.
