Role Overview

UI/UX Design Intern

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in designing user interfaces for mobile and web applications.
• Support the creation of wireframes, mockups, prototypes, and user flows using Figma or similar tools.
• Participate in user research activities and gather insights to improve design decisions.
• Collaborate with product managers, developers, and senior designers to ensure design intent is accurately implemented.
• Prepare and organize design assets, documentation, and component libraries.
• Follow brand guidelines and maintain consistency across all design deliverables.
• Stay informed about emerging UI/UX trends, tools, and best practices.

Required Skills & Competencies

• Basic knowledge of Figma, Adobe XD, or equivalent design tools.
• Understanding of UI/UX principles, visual hierarchy, and usability standards.
• Strong attention to detail with a creative and problem-solving mindset.
• Ability to communicate ideas clearly and work effectively in a team environment.
• A portfolio showcasing academic, personal, or freelance design work.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Design, UI/UX, Visual Arts, or a related field.
• Strong willingness to learn, adapt, and take guidance from senior team members.
