UI/UX Designer - Games & Interactive Software

Role Overview: You have a unique opportunity to work on projects that combine gaming, entertainment, and software tools for real-world deployment. As a UI/UX Designer for games and interactive software, you will be responsible for designing game interfaces, collaborating with the Game Producer to create wireframes and final UI assets, conducting playtests and usability studies, developing and maintaining a consistent style guide, and optimizing UI for various screen types. Key Responsibilities: - Design game interfaces including menus, HUDs, scoreboards, onboarding flows, and arcade launcher screens. - Collaborate with the Game Producer to translate concepts into wireframes, mockups, and final UI assets. - Work with developers, artists, and backend engineers to ensure smooth integration. - Conduct playtests and usability studies to enhance player and operator experiences. - Develop and maintain a consistent style guide for games and software products. - Optimize UI for multiple screen types such as arcade machines, tablets, kiosks, and mobile devices. Qualification Required: - Proven experience as a UI/UX Designer with a minimum of 2-5 years of work in games or interactive apps. - Strong portfolio showcasing game UIs and software dashboards/apps. - Proficiency in design tools like Figma, Adobe XD, Photoshop, and Illustrator. - Solid understanding of UX principles including usability, flow, accessibility, and clarity. - Experience collaborating with developers using Unity, React, or Phaser for effective design handoffs. - Strong communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally.
