UI/UX Designer Games & Interactive Software

Role Overview: You have a unique opportunity to work on projects involving gaming, entertainment, and software tools for real-world deployment. As a UI/UX Designer for games and interactive software, you will be responsible for designing game interfaces, collaborating with cross-functional teams, conducting playtests, and ensuring a consistent style guide across products. Key Responsibilities: - Design various game interfaces such as menus, HUDs, scoreboards, onboarding flows, and arcade launcher screens. - Collaborate with the Game Producer to transform concepts into wireframes, mockups, and final UI assets. - Work closely with developers, artists, and backend engineers to ensure smooth integration of UI elements. - Conduct playtests and usability studies to enhance player and operator experiences. - Develop and maintain a uniform style guide for games and software products. - Optimize UI for different screen types including arcade machines, tablets, kiosks, and mobile devices. Qualification Required: - Proven experience of at least 2-5 years as a UI/UX Designer in the gaming or interactive apps industry. - Demonstrable portfolio showcasing game UIs and software dashboards/apps. - Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, Photoshop, and Illustrator. - Strong understanding of UX principles focusing on usability, flow, accessibility, and clarity. - Experience in collaborating with developers using Unity, React, or Phaser to effectively hand off designs. - Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across functions.
