UI/UX and Web Faculty

You will play a crucial role as a UI/UX and Web Design Faculty member, responsible for imparting knowledge and guidance to students on the latest design principles, tools, and technologies. Your expertise will help students develop a solid understanding of user-centered design, front-end development, and industry-standard software. Your key responsibilities will include conducting engaging classroom and online training sessions on various UI/UX and web design modules. You will focus on teaching students essential design concepts such as wireframing, prototyping, responsive design, and usability testing. It will be crucial for you to provide hands-on training in tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, Photoshop, Illustrator, HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap, and basic JavaScript/jQuery. Additionally, you will guide students through practical projects, assignments, and portfolio development while ensuring regular assessments and offering constructive feedback. To excel in this role, you must stay abreast of current design trends and technologies to keep the curriculum relevant. You will also be expected to support students with their showreel, project work, and placement preparation, collaborating closely with the academic team to maintain high teaching and content standards. The ideal candidate for this position should possess a minimum of 1-4 years of professional experience in UI/UX design and front-end development. Proficiency in design tools like Figma, Adobe XD, Photoshop, and Illustrator is essential, along with a solid grasp of HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap, and basic JavaScript. Knowledge of design systems, accessibility, and responsive frameworks will be beneficial, as well as strong communication, presentation, and mentoring skills. Prior teaching or training experience would be an advantage. Preferred qualifications include certification in UI/UX or Web Design from a recognized institution and familiarity with tools like Webflow, WordPress, or other no-code/low-code platforms. An understanding of user research, personas, and analytics will further enhance your candidacy for this position.
