UI (React) Developer

Role Overview: As a UI (React) Developer at Algonomy, you will be part of a team that believes in the future of our economy being Algorithmic. Key Responsibilities: - Work closely with the product team to understand project requirements - Develop reusable code and libraries for future use - Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability - Create technical documentation including architecture, flow diagrams, and technical implementation approaches - Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX design - Device strategies and innovative approaches that impact application design significantly - Set and evolve standards and best practices for the application development team - Conduct code reviews and enforce standards - Oversee development process compliance and CI activities - Guide and mentor junior developers, empowering them on ReactJS and related trends Qualifications Required: - At least 2+ years of software development experience with a focus on front-end development using React and Node.js - Ability to design and architect Enterprise JavaScript applications using ReactJS - Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model; Expertise in understanding of web markup (HTML5 and CSS3) - Experience with popular React.js workflows - Experience writing unit tests using JavaScript testing frameworks - Proficient understanding of build tools and code versioning tools, such as Git/SVN - Good understanding of browser rendering behavior and performance - Demonstrated understanding of asynchronous request handling, partial page updates, and AJAX - Ability to review specifications documents and provide technical inputs on successfully implementing business solutions - Experience with data structure libraries (e.g., Immutable.js) - Knowledge of isomorphic React is a plus - Familiarity with RESTful APIs - Knowledge of modern authorization mechanisms, such as JSON Web Token - Familiarity with modern front-end build pipelines and tools - Experience with common front-end development tools such as Babel, Webpack, NPM, etc. - Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements - A knack for benchmarking and optimization Company Additional Details: As an ambitious and innovative company, Algonomy helps consumer businesses maximize customer value by automating decision-making across their retail business lifecycle.
