Description
As a UI UX Developer at Exela, you will play a crucial role in creating visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces for websites. Your responsibilities will include collaborating with Product Managers and Engineers to design clean and elegant UI, developing UI mocks, wireframes, and prototypes, actively participating in UI/UX discussions and decisions, and providing clear guidance to the development team. You will also be responsible for designing and managing style guidelines for both mobile and desktop platforms. Key Responsibilities: - Collaborate with Product Managers and Engineers to create a clean and elegant UI while maintaining an intuitive and concise UX. - Design UI mocks, site flows, wireframes, and high-fidelity prototypes. - Act as an impulse by providing clear guidance to the team during implementation phases. - Design and manage style guidelines for mobile and desktop platforms. - Demonstrate expertise in UI/UX design in discussions and practice. - Identify and rectify issues with front-end code, create unit tests, and ensure front-end code can query APIs. - Audit code to identify performance bottlenecks and fix them. Qualifications Required: - Minimum of 3 years of experience as a UI/UX Developer. - Strong understanding of design principles and user experience design. - Experience with JavaScript frameworks like Grape JS, HTML5, and CSS3. - Experience in web-based apps and CMS-based website development (e.g., Drupal, WordPress). - Formal qualification in Graphic design with a higher degree being a plus. - Proficiency in designing and prototyping tools such as Invision and Figma. - Experience in start-ups in hyper-growth environments. - Excellent communication skills and ability to provide direction to the team. - Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, iterative, deadline-driven environment. - Familiarity with JavaScript libraries like jQuery and Bootstrap, CSS preprocessors like Sass, Less, or Stylus, and JavaScript MV-VM/MVC frameworks including AngularJS. - Basic proficiency in Photoshop and web design, along with a good understanding of SEO principles. - Strong project management, analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and critical thinking skills.
