Job Description: As an MEP Design Engineer, your primary responsibility is to design, develop, and oversee Electrical / HVAC / PHE / Fire fighting / ELV for various projects in commercial & residential buildings and Industries. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure that design meet project requirements, industry standards, and safety regulations. We are looking for people with the following: Education: Diploma or Bachelor degree (Electrical / Mechanical / ECE or other relevant engineering graduates) Experience: Typically requires 3-5 years of experience in MEP design or a related field. Experience with HVAC design, electrical systems, plumbing systems, Fire fighting, ELV like CCTV, access control, data / Network and building codes/regulations is essential Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, or similar design software, Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. Responsibilities: Design Development: Develop detailed design drawings and specifications for MEP systems (mechanical, electrical, plumbing). Ensure designs comply with applicable codes, standards, and regulations. Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, and other design professionals to integrate MEP systems into the overall building design. System Calculations and Analysis: Perform calculations for heating, ventilation, air conditioning (HVAC), lighting, plumbing systems, etc. Conduct energy modeling and analysis to optimize system efficiency and performance. Size equipment such as chillers, pumps, air handlers, etc., based on calculated loads and requirements; Transformer, cable, panels for electrical. Drafting and Documentation: Use AutoCAD, Revit, or similar software to create detailed drawings and schematics. Prepare technical specifications and schedules for equipment and materials. Review shop drawings and submittals from contractors to ensure compliance with design documents. Project Coordination: Collaborate with project managers and construction teams throughout the project lifecycle. Attend meetings with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to discuss project requirements and progress. Provide technical support and guidance during construction, addressing any design-related issues that arise. Research and Innovation: Stay updated on advancements in MEP systems, materials, and technologies. Propose innovative solutions to improve system performance, energy efficiency, and sustainability.
Job Description: A BIM Modeller is an individual who models and manages three-dimensional digital models of various type of buildings and Industries. These 3D models contain detailed information about the project's design, construction process, and building usage, utilized throughout the building's lifecycle We are looking for people with the following: Diploma or Bachelor degree (Mechanical, Electrical and other relevant engineering graduates) 3 to 5 years & 5 to 8 years proven experience in Revit modelling Good English language communication skills and collaborative approach Good knowledge of AutoCAD is a bonus. RESPONSIBILITIES Create precise 3D BIM models. Develop plans, sections, elevations and details from 3D BIM model. Take ownership of modelling, drawings and documentation production process Understand and implement industry wide BIM standards. Develop details and drawings from conceptual ideas and engineer's sketches. Annotate and dimension details on drawings as per company standards. Review model and drawings to ensure compliance with design. Highlight potential problems and look for a solution. Interact with engineers, architects and clients to coordinate BIM modelling and drawings. Create 3D views or renders for project use or marketing purposes PREFERRED ATTRIBUTES Good organisational skills and the ability to cope with a variety of tasks. Job responsibilities and tasks Experience of interpreting process PID & Project Specification. AEI basic and detail engineering in COMOS engineering platform is highly preferable. Other tools like Smart Plant Instrumentation (SPI) considerable. Hands on experience in preparing Instrument Index, Loop list, IO list, motor list, circuit diagram, terminal plan. Sound knowledge on Sizing & Selection of various types of Automatic valves, Analysers, Flow measuring equipment and other standard filed instruments. Technical support for the preparation of technical specification, offer review, technical evaluation and approval of supplier documents & drawings. Considering the local requirements and regulations on engineering and deliveries. Definition of control strategies and preparation of logic diagrams and draft monitor displays as well as control descriptions Instrumentation Installation supervision and to support in start-up, commissioning & process controls of the plant. Work experience from Pulp / Paper / Chemical and allied industry are preferred. Education, professional experience, and qualification preferred/required Batchelor of Engineering - electronics /electrical/instrumentation. 3 to 10 years relevant experience Good Communication Skills.
