Your role will involve investigating application issues within defined timelines and determining business impacts. You will assign relevant priority to application defects raised by clients in order to agree on timelines for delivering software fixes. Additionally, you will advise users on appropriate actions or workarounds when necessary and escalate issues to the appropriate resources to ensure resolution within agreed Service Level Agreements. Collaboration with 3rd Level Application Support Analysts is crucial to identify and document the resolution of issues. You will document, track, and monitor problems to ensure timely resolution, as well as advise clients on timelines for delivery of fixes. Coordinating system downtime with clients and infrastructure teams will be necessary to apply software fixes efficiently. A proactive approach is required to review new functionality against client business requirements and monitor Production Jobs/Alerts. Daily checks on key processes in Production environments, including Transaction imports, Billing outputs, and Card Production files, must be carried out. Ensuring the delivery of cost-effective and suitable system solutions is essential, along with adhering to departmental procedures and practices. You will play a proactive and visible role in delivering key business projects and departmental objectives. The role also involves conducting manual testing tasks independently, identifying bugs, writing test cases, and preparing execution reports. Maintaining and adhering to established standards and procedures for test plans/cases, coordinating with IT business analysts, team members, and business owners, is necessary. Working in an agile rapid development environment, effective communication is paramount. You will be responsible for setting up and facilitating QA-related meetings, demos, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) sessions. The ideal candidate should have at least 3 years of experience in Manual and Automation testing.,
