Position Overview: The Business Development Manager (BDM) plays a pivotal role in building strategic partnerships and driving the organization’s outreach initiatives. Working closely with the CEO and HR Executive/Learner Experience Facilitator, the BDM is responsible for identifying potential customer markets, planning and executing outreach programs, and driving registrations and enrolments for the organization’s programs. This role demands strong collaboration, strategic planning, and execution skills to promote the company’s offerings effectively. Reporting Structure Reports to: CEO Collaborates with: HR Executive/ Learner Experience Facilitator: To coordinate program attendee registrations, enrolment processes, and learner experience enhancements. Principal Program Facilitators: For program alignment, and awareness session execution. Internal Teams: To align processes, resources, and strategic initiatives for seamless program delivery. Communication with External Stakeholders: Indirect communication, routed through the CEO for strategic consistency and alignment. Key Responsibilities: Strategic Planning & Market Identification: Work with the CEO to identify potential customer markets (students and parents) and outreach channels, including face-to-face presentations, social media campaigns, and partnerships with schools and communities. Analyze and report on market trends to refine outreach strategies and identify new growth opportunities. Customer Outreach & Awareness Programs: Develop and execute customer outreach programs tailored to identified customer markets. Organize and manage awareness sessions, workshops, and collaborations to showcase the organization’s offerings. Schedule and coordinate customer awareness sessions and ensure seamless execution. Content Development & Event Management: Assist the CEO and Principal Program Facilitators in the preparation of content for awareness sessions and outreach programs. Plan and manage Program Information Events, working collaboratively with the HR Executive/ Learner Experience Facilitator to ensure smooth attendee registration and enrolment processes. Collaboration & Engagement: Build and maintain strategic partnerships with schools and communities to enhance the organization’s visibility and outreach. Collaborate with the Learner Experience Facilitators to influence program attendee decisions and foster a positive learner experience. Analysis & Reporting: Track and analyse potential course attendees’ interest levels to provide actionable insights for refining outreach strategies. Present detailed reports to the CEO on outreach program outcomes, attendee engagement, and enrolment metrics. Skills & Qualifications: Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Education, or a related field. Experience: 1-3 years of experience in business development, education program promotion, or a similar role. Experience in working with educational institutions is a plus.
