Typescript Full Stack Developer ( NodeJS)

Your role: As a mid-level Full Stack Engineer at UBS, your responsibilities will include: - Implementing code that underpins the UBS Data Mesh - Ensuring the quality, security, reliability, and compliance of solutions by applying digital principles - Learning new technologies and practices for long-term sustainability - Working in an agile manner as part of multi-disciplinary teams - Sharing knowledge and expertise with colleagues, assisting in hiring talented data engineers, and contributing to the engineering culture and internal communities Your expertise: To excel in this role, you should have: - At least 8+ years of experience as a Developer for larger enterprises - Proficiency in JavaScript/Typescript - Experience in developing and deploying large-scale NodeJS applications, preferably in financial services - Knowledge of Specification-first API design, JSON Schema, JSON-LD, and OpenAPI - Familiarity with single-page application architectures, with React preferred - Proven experience in developing for cloud platforms, preferably MS Azure - Experience working in an agile development environment, particularly Scrum - Proficiency in CI/CD development approaches, continuous development, and container-based development Technology Requirements: - TypeScript, Node JS - Unit tests framework (i.e. Junit) - Web development (React, Angular, EXT JS) - Public cloud services, preferably on Azure - Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform - Data mesh principles and technologies About Us: UBS is the world's largest and the only truly global wealth manager.
