Company Name: Twenty First Century Mining Private Limited Job Title: Civil Engineer Project Site (R&R Colony & Infrastructure Development) Location : [Project Site / Ranchi / Jharkhand] Department : Civil Reports To : Project Manager Employment Type : Full Time Compensation: Negotiable based on Experience Role Purpose The Civil Engineer will be responsible for the study of design & specifications , planning, executing, and supervising all civil engineering works at the project site, including R&R Colony setup, office & infrastructure development, housing, railway siding, and other civil construction works required by the company. The role requires ensuring timely completion, cost efficiency, safety, and quality compliance in all civil projects. Key Responsibilities 1. R&R Colony Development Plan and prepare layouts for R&R colonies, including housing, roads, drainage, sanitation, water supply, and community facilities. Supervise the construction of residential units, schools, health centers, community halls, and other public infrastructure. Coordinate with R&R & Land Acquisition teams and local authorities for approvals and compliance. 2. Office & Infrastructure Setup Plan and execute civil works for site offices, staff quarters, guest houses, boundary walls, and approach roads. Oversee renovation, interior fit-outs, and maintenance of existing company infrastructure. Ensure functionality of utilities (electricity, water, sanitation) in company establishments. 3. Railway Siding Development Assist in planning, design, and execution of railway siding works for coal transportation. Coordinate with railway authorities for design approvals, inspections, and compliance. Supervise construction of track beds, platforms, drainage, culverts, and associated civil works. Ensure safety standards and adherence to Indian Railways specifications during execution. 4. Project Execution & Monitoring Prepare estimates, DPRs, and cost analysis for civil works. Supervise contractors, vendors, and site labour to ensure adherence to timelines and specifications. Conduct site inspections and material quality checks as per IS codes/standards. Monitor progress and prepare reports for management. 4. Compliance, Safety & Quality Ensure compliance with R&R norms, environmental guidelines, and statutory regulations. Implement construction safety protocols and monitor adherence at the site. Maintain quality assurance through material testing and site inspections. 5. Other Civil Works Support the execution of all company-related civil projects at the site (roads, drainage, warehouse, plant-related structures, boundary walls, etc.). Provide technical support in resolving site-level construction/structural issues. Skills & Competencies Strong knowledge of Project Management & civil construction (housing, office, and infrastructure projects). Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office , and Excel. Experience in planning, estimation, and site supervision . Ability to manage contractors, labour, and multiple site activities. Good leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills. Qualifications & Experience B.E./B. Tech in Civil Engineering (Diploma with extensive experience may be considered). 8 to 10 years of experience in civil works, township/R&R projects, office/housing colony setup, or mining/infrastructure projects. Prior exposure to R&R or township development will be an advantage.
