Job Title: Accountant Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to manage financial transactions, record-keeping, and compliance requirements. The ideal candidate will ensure accuracy in financial reporting, support budgeting and forecasting, and maintain the financial health of the organization. Key Responsibilities: Maintain and update financial records, ledgers, and journals. Prepare and examine financial statements, reports, and reconciliations. Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax laws, and company policies. Manage accounts payable and receivable, including invoicing and collections. Handle monthly, quarterly, and annual closings. Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts. Monitor cash flow and support strategic financial planning. Liaise with auditors, banks, and tax consultants as needed. File GST, TDS, and other statutory returns on time. Perform internal audits and support external audit processes. Analyze financial trends and provide insights to management. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CA/CPA or equivalent is a plus). Proven work experience as an Accountant (X years preferred). Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices. Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, Zoho Books, or ERP).
