Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for an Environmental Health Safety Engineer, located in Chennai. The Environmental Health Safety Engineer will be responsible for day-to-day tasks including monitoring and ensuring compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations. The role involves developing and implementing safety policies, conducting risk assessments, and providing training to staff on EHS protocols. The engineer will also investigate incidents, recommend corrective actions, and ensure all safety equipment is properly maintained. Qualifications Experience in Environment Health and Safety (EHS), Environmental Health, and Occupational Health Strong knowledge of Health & Safety regulations and policies Proficiency in Safety Engineering Excellent communication and training skills Ability to conduct risk assessments and recommend corrective actions Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Safety Engineering, or a related field Relevant certifications in EHS or Occupational Health and Safety are a plus Experience in industrial or logistics sectors is beneficial
