Full Time
1. Operates lathes and other turning machines to shape, cut, and finish parts.
2. Studies engineering drawings and specifications to understand the required dimensions and tolerances for parts.
3. Maintains and sharpens cutting tools as needed to ensure proper function and precision.
4. Uses measuring instruments like callipers and micrometres to check the accuracy of finished parts.
5. Performs routine maintenance on the lathe and other equipment.
6. Identifies and resolves issues during the machining process to ensure quality and efficiency.
