Role & responsibilities Supervision & Leadership: Lead and manage a team of technicians and operators in the SMT/DIP and Module assembly processes. Provide guidance, training, and performance evaluations to ensure a motivated and skilled workforce.Production Planning Execution: Assist in the planning and scheduling of production activities to meet customer demands and production targets. Monitor production progress and make adjustments as necessary to ensure timely delivery.Quality Assurance: Implement and maintain quality control procedures to ensure that all products meet industry standards and customer specifications. Conduct regular inspections and audits of the production line.Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process optimization and efficiency improvements. Work collaboratively with the engineering team to implement changes that enhance productivity and reduce waste.Safety & Compliance: Ensure that all production activities adhere to safety regulations and company policies. Promote a culture of safety and continuous improvement within the team.Troubleshooting: Address and resolve any issues or challenges that arise during the production process. Coordinate with the maintenance team to minimize downtime and maintain equipment reliability.Reporting: Prepare and present regular reports on production performance, quality metrics, and improvement initiatives to senior management.Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, procurement, and logistics, to ensure seamless production operations and alignment with business goals.Technical Skills: Proficiency in SMT/DIP and Module assembly techniques, equipment, and machinery. Strong understanding of production planning, quality control, and process optimization.Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Ability to troubleshoot and resolve production issues effectively.Attention to Detail: High level of attention to detail and commitment to quality standards.Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.Language: Proficiency in English is required. Knowledge of Hindi and/or other local languages is an advantage.Preferred candidate profile 1. Knowledge of SMT 2. Knowledge of TS16949 five core tools (APQP, FMEA, MSA, SPC, PPAP)3. Knowledge of MS office (Excel/PowerPoint/Outlook) 4. Knowledge of CAD drawing software.5. Knowledge of MES system
