Senior Accountant parel, mumbai/bombay 2 - 31 years INR 1.8 - 3.0 Lacs P.A. On-site Full Time

Experience: 2–5+ Years of Experience: Prior experience in accounting roles, with a preference for experience in handling Indian accounting standards, GST, TDS, ESIC, PF Calculation, and other taxation laws. Supervisory Experience: Previous experience managing a small team of accountants or financial staff. Industry-Specific Experience: Experience in relevant industries such as manufacturing, IT, financial services, or other industries aligned with the company’s needs. Audit Experience: Handling internal/external audits and familiarity with statutory audits as per Indian accounting regulations. Technical Skills: Accounting Standards Knowledge: Strong understanding of Indian Accounting Standards (Ind AS), Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), and GST regulations. Taxation and Compliance: Expertise in Indian tax laws, including direct and indirect taxes, filing GST returns, TDS, and corporate tax compliance. Software Proficiency: Advanced knowledge of accounting software (e.g., Tally,) and proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced financial modeling and analysis. Key Skills: Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to analyze complex financial data, identify discrepancies, and suggest corrective measures. Attention to Detail: High degree of accuracy and attention to detail in financial reporting and analysis. Leadership and Communication: Capable of leading a team and presenting financial insights to senior management in a clear and concise manner. Adaptability: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, adapt to changing regulatory frameworks, and ensure compliance with legal requirements. Responsibilities: Financial Reporting: Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements in accordance with Ind AS and other applicable accounting standards. Taxation: Manage all tax-related activities including GST, TDS, PF, ESIC income tax, and ensure timely compliance with all statutory regulations. Audit Coordination: Lead internal audits, work closely with external auditors for statutory audits, and ensure compliance with all applicable laws. Reconciliation and Closing: Oversee monthly and year-end closing activities, including ledger reconciliation and ensuring accurate financial records. Team Leadership: Supervise junior accountants, provide guidance, and ensure smooth accounting operations.
