Job Description Position Title: Sr. Executive – Finance & Accounts Department: Finance & Accounts Location: Erragadda, Gowdavelly and begum Bazaar Branches. Reports To: Managing Director Purpose of the Job To manage day-to-day financial operations, ensure accuracy in financial reporting, maintain compliance with statutory requirements, and support overall financial health across all branches. Key Responsibilities Supervise daily financial operations including transaction recording, reconciliation, and bank reconciliations across branches. Post financial transactions accurately and on time into the General Ledger (GL); maintain integrity and completeness of financial records. Ensure accuracy, compliance, and consistency of financial data across all locations. Perform and oversee inter-branch reconciliations. Prepare and submit financial reports such as: Profit & Loss Statements Budget vs Actuals Tax-related reports (GST, IT, etc.) Coordinate and support internal and statutory audits; assist in timely finalization of books and resolution of audit queries. Ensure timely and accurate payments to suppliers and vendors, adhering to agreed terms. Engage with internal and external stakeholders to resolve issues related to payments and receivables. Prioritize outstanding payables based on contractual obligations, history, and aging. Consolidate daily reports submitted by executives from various branches. Prepare and share weekly/monthly reports with the Managing Director. Identify and implement improvements in financial processes and accounting practices. Stay updated with industry trends, accounting standards, and compliance requirements through continuous learning. Experience Requirements 4–8 years of experience in: Financial operations Bookkeeping and ledger maintenance Reconciliations Statutory accounting (GST, RCM, IT audits) Experience in retail operations is preferred. Educational Qualifications M.Com / MBA (Finance) CA Inter / CA Foundation preferred Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) AR/AP and bank reconciliation success rate Accuracy and timeliness of monthly financial reports % of payments made within agreed-upon terms Statutory filings and audit coordination General ledger accuracy and audit performance Industry Knowledge Exposure to retail industry operations Understanding of: Inventory and procurement accounting Distribution and freight financials Functional Competencies General Ledger & Accounting Reconciliation & Ledger Management Cash Flow Management Taxation & Statutory Compliance Tools: Zoho Books, MS Excel, Google Workspace Languages: Proficiency in English, Telugu, and Hindi Managerial & Behavioral Competencies Attention to Detail Result Orientation Concern for Standards Initiative & Tenacity Efficiency Orientation Job Type: Full-time Pay: ₹450,000.00 - ₹700,000.00 per year Benefits: Health insurance Provident Fund Work Location: In person
