About TruVs EdTech Division TruVs EdTech Division is a fast-growing venture combining AI-assisted tools with live tutoring to transform spoken English learning. Initially focused on the Indian subcontinent, we are scaling into global markets, including the U.S. with strong backing and proven leadership in digital transformation (via our parent company TruVs), TruVs EdTech Division aims to become a global brand in communication and career readiness. Role Overview We are seeking a dynamic Business Head for TruVs EdTech Division India who will own the P&L, drive growth, and establish TruVs EdTech Division as a market leader in English fluency solutions. This role requires a blend of entrepreneurial mindset, operational execution, and leadership maturity. Over time, the individual will grow into the role of CEO – TruVs EdTech Division India Pvt Ltd, leading independent operations and potentially serving on the global leadership team. Key Responsibilities 1. Business Leadership Own P&L responsibility for TruVs EdTech Division India. Define and execute go-to-market strategy for B2C (students, professionals) and B2B (colleges, corporates). Build scalable pricing models, partnerships, and channels. 2. Operations & Execution Oversee day-to-day operations including tutor recruitment, AI-tool adoption, and customer success. Establish SOPs for onboarding, training, and service quality. Build dashboards and metrics to track performance. 3. Growth & Market Expansion Scale user acquisition through digital marketing, campus tie-ups, and referral programs. Drive partnerships with corporates, universities, and training centers. Explore and test expansion into adjacent geographies (South Asia, Middle East). 4. Team Building & Leadership Build, inspire, and lead a cross-functional team (sales, operations, marketing, product support). Foster a performance-driven and innovation-focused culture. Mentor future leaders as the company grows. 5. Strategic Alignment Work closely with the global CEO and board to align India strategy with global vision. Support fundraising discussions by providing market insights, data, and execution credibility. Prepare TruVs EdTech Division India for eventual spin-out into an independent entity. Qualifications & Experience 12–18+ years of experience in TruVs EdTech Division, training, consulting, or consumer services. Proven track record of scaling a business line/division with measurable revenue growth. Strong understanding of Indian education/training market and digital platforms. Experience in managing P&L, sales, partnerships, and operations. Exposure to international markets or working with global leadership preferred. MBA from a top-tier institution (ISB, IIMs, global MBA) strongly preferred. Key Attributes Entrepreneurial drive – thrives in high-growth, ambiguous environments. Compensation This is a business performance-driven role and definitely not for the faint-hearted. The base salary will generally meet the cost of living expenses to support a decent lifestyle. The variable salary is uncapped but is variable based on the business results.
