You will be responsible for working with XML and ePub formats to convert content into ePub, ensuring proper formatting and functionality across various devices. Your duties will include creating and editing XML files, converting documents to ePub2/ePub3 formats, checking ePub files for quality and layout accuracy, and ensuring compliance with accessibility standards. Utilizing tools such as Oxygen XML, Sigil, or Calibre will be essential in carrying out these tasks efficiently. Collaboration with team members to meet project deadlines will also be part of your role. To excel in this position, you should possess a strong knowledge of XML and ePub formats, along with a basic understanding of HTML and CSS. Familiarity with ePub tools and validators, meticulous attention to detail, and previous experience with accessibility considerations will be advantageous.
