Role: Performance Tester with 3 to 8 years of experience.
Location: Trivandrum/Cochin

Skills and Qualifications:

• Active participant in all phases of the project lifecycle. Work with project stakeholders during project definition to help the team understand risks, dependencies, and opportunities; participate in requirements definition and review; lend subject matter expertise to projects.
• Analyzes requirements, deliverables, results, etc.
• Assists in performance requirement definition.
• Ability to create test scenarios and test plans using performance tools like jMeter, Neoload etc
• Ensures consistency and adherence to organizational practices. Builds and evaluates quality checkpoints.
• Reviews, monitors and summarizes progress of performance testing activities. Suggest and implement process improvements that will accomplish team, department and business goals.
• Provide mentoring or coaching to engineers, software developers and QA testers.

Required experience

• Strong performance testing experience ideally with Apache JMeter.
• Solid understanding of the software development lifecycle
• Preferred experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD)
• Experience working in an agile engineering environment
• Demonstrate knowledge of any project management tool like HP ALM, JIRA etc
• Familiarity with software testing (unit, integration, functional, regression).
• Familiarity with web services standards and related technologies (XML, SOAP, JSON, etc.).
• Experience working on Linux/Unix and Cloud environment
• Knowledge of database query tools and ability write and run SQL queries
