Job Title: Sales Manager – Medical Equipment (Medical Monitors) Location: Tamil Nadu (State-wide Travel Required) Experience Required: 2–3 years in Medical Equipment Sales within Tamil Nadu Industry: Medical Devices / Hospital Equipment Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Sales Manager to lead and grow our medical monitor business across Tamil Nadu. The ideal candidate should have strong exposure to the medical equipment market, in-depth understanding of hospitals, and excellent relationships with biomedical engineers, purchase teams, and key decision-makers. This role demands a proactive professional who can drive sales, expand market presence, and build long-term customer relationships. Key ResponsibilitiesSales & Business Development Drive sales of medical monitors and associated equipment across Tamil Nadu. Identify new business opportunities, develop strategic account plans, and achieve monthly/quarterly targets. Build strong relationships with hospitals, nursing homes, diagnostic centers, and key stakeholders. Market Expansion Map the Tamil Nadu market thoroughly and identify potential hospitals and biomedical departments. Increase product penetration in priority territories and ensure consistent follow-ups. Customer & Biomedical Engagement Conduct product demonstrations, technical discussions, and clinical evaluations for biomedical engineers and hospital staff. Maintain excellent rapport with biomedical teams and purchasing departments to influence buying decisions. Channel & Dealer Management Coordinate with channel partners/distributors to ensure product visibility, pricing discipline, and timely order execution. Train and support channel teams on product features and sales pitches. Operational & Reporting Track competitor activities, pricing, and market trends. Submit territory reports, sales forecasts, customer feedback, and key activity updates on time. Ensure timely payment collection and adherence to company policies. Required Qualifications & Skills 2–3 years of proven sales experience in medical equipment, preferably medical monitors or similar devices. Strong understanding of hospital workflows , biomedical engineering departments, purchase cycles, and clinical environments. Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills. Ability to travel extensively across Tamil Nadu. Self-driven, target-oriented, and capable of working independently. Graduate in Life Sciences, Biomedical Engineering, Electronics, or Business preferred. Preferred Attributes Existing relationships with major hospitals and biomedical staff across Tamil Nadu. Experience handling tenders, corporate hospital chains, and government institutions. Familiarity with ICU equipment, patient monitoring systems, and medical device regulatory guidelines.
